How To Make Margarita Recipe?

  1. Juice the lime: Juice one lime to obtain 1 fl oz / 30 ml of fresh lime juice and set aside.
  2. Prepare the garnish: From the second lime, cut a thin wheel for garnish and a wedge to rim the glass.
  3. Rim the glass & add ice: Run the lime wedge around the rim of a chilled rocks glass, then dip it into salt to coat. Partially fill the glass with ice.
  4. Shake the cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, then add tequila, orange liqueur, and the fresh lime juice. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds until the shaker feels cold and frosty.

Recipe Tips:

  • Use fresh lime juice : Bottled lime juice won’t give the same fresh, zesty flavor. Always squeeze your own limes for the best taste.
  • Shake it properly : Shake the cocktail shaker for at least 10 seconds until it feels very cold. This helps blend the flavors and makes the drink smooth.
  • Chill your glass : A cold glass keeps your margarita icy and refreshing for longer. Put your glass in the freezer for a few minutes before making the drink.
  • Choose quality tequila : A good 100% agave blanco tequila makes a huge difference in taste. Avoid cheap, mixed tequilas for a smoother drink.
  • Don’t oversalt the rim : Only coat the outer edge of the glass so you can control each sip. Too much salt can overpower the drink’s flavor.

How To Store Leftovers?

Margaritas are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container or a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Before serving, stir well or shake with ice to refresh the flavors.
